Extra standoff is built into the Revolver plug gage to allow for future regrinding without loss of taper. Ring gages are built to accommodate the larger standoff. The MAXGRADE series of materials provide the hardness of a chrome finish throughout the mass of the gage allowing for reconditioning without additional operations or loss of hardness. Reconditioned gages receive new identification badges. |
